Insight to Aspire K3 Kit

Insight to Aspire K3 Kit
Posted on

The Aspire K Series kits were designed to be your introduction into the world of vape in Boston, MA. There are three models presently in the K series--the K2, K3, and K4--with only a few differences between them. Once you’ve graduated up the line in the K series to the K4, the largest of the three, you're fully immersed in the vape scene.

The K Series vaporizers are available in two unique colors: deep black and hot pink. In an industry dominated by metallic finishes, hot pink in carbon fiber is a welcome sight. For ladies who are new to vaping, finally, there’s a stylish option for your personal device. The carbon fiber finish in deep black is also very sophisticated. Go beyond brushed silver and nickel and add this bit of eye candy to your vaping collection.

The K3: A Comparison Study

Compared to its predecessor, the K2, the K3 is similar in both functionality and form. The K3 has a 2-milliliter e-liquid tank which is slightly more than the K2 that only holds 1.8 millimeters. The K3 is also slightly longer than its sister pen because of the larger glass tank.

The coil and battery are also slightly larger, contributing to a small increase in girth. The K3 boasts a 1.8-ohm coil and a 1,200 mAh battery while the K2 coil is a 1.6-ohm with a battery capacity of 800 mAh. While the K2 may have a smaller battery, fans of the K2 report that this model charges faster compared to the larger models in the series. The average charge time of the K3 is 1.5 hours. If you don't have prolonged access to a power source in your travels, it's a good idea to pack an extra battery along with your K3. Despite the charging times, the battery life itself is very long, with most users going up to 24 hours of heavy usage between plug-ins.

Like its sister, the K3 also allows for pass-through charging, which means you can vape while you're plugged in. However, the charging time is increased while in pass-through mode. Despite the added length and width, the K3 is still very slim compared to the K4. It can easily fit into a pocket or a purse, but it may not be as discreet as the smaller K2.

What’s in the Box?

The Aspire K3 kit comes with everything you need to start vaping. The kit includes the pen with a stainless steel tank, a transparent glass e-liquid tube, and organic cotton wick. The charging cable included with the kit plugs into the side of the device. The kit also includes your first replacement coil. Kit coils usually last between 3 and 4 weeks depending on your usage. The K3 is ready to go right out of the box, but the 510 threads on the device allow you to mix and match its parts with other Aspire-made modifications.

Whether you want to experiment with vape mods or use the K3 as a backup pen, you’ll find all the parts and accessories you’ll need online at E-Cig Barn, your local vape shop in Boston, MA. Free shipping on orders above $50.
